I’m the host of Fun Monday this week and to recap, this is what I’ve asked as the challenge….
Okay, your mission, should you choose to accept it is this – we’re at the end of decade and in the media we’re seeing a lot of highlights, mishaps, misfortunes etc.. that have happened in the news. But what about everyone else? I would LOVE to see your highlights and lowlights from the “noughties”. Photos would be fantastic but you don’t have to – the choice is yours. (so, show us the last decade for you)
Here is mine. It’s strange that this all happened over the last 10 years, it seems as though much of it happened this year. I’ve created a slideshow with my highlights and low lights, enjoy!

10 years in a slide show, that’s a good idea ! The first picture I saw was the Windsor Castle, which I know too ! your cat is cute, you should present her in Cats and Tuesday on my cat blog !
And you got married too, I celebrated my 40th anniversary I think I will go into the Guiness book of Records,
Yes I was late getting married, never found anyone good enough before that. I’ll check out the Cats and Tuesday.
A slideshow–what a great idea Wendy. There’s a lot of joy and pain in these images. What you would call a life, I suppose. I hope the next decade tilts more toward the happy side for you Wendy. Loved the “happier times” photo of you and your guy.
Happy or sad, there are always lessons to learn and all these things make me stronger so I don’t mind going through them – though I say that after the shocks, not during LOL
OMG! I have SO overdone mine, LOL. I’ve written a novella out and now I’ve seen yours, I feel shamed.
There has been some tough stuff that’s happened to you but you and Stu are together and the power of two helps the battle with the hard times. I’ve never seen such young shots of Willow – she’s super cute

I love your slide show idea. The pictures of you and Stu on the playground made me smile – and the remembrance bears and the tiny coffin made me cry. It was an eventful decade for you, for sure. I hope the next one is full of love and laughter and joy!
It’s been a real rollercoaster ride for sure this last decade, but I wouldn’t change a thing really! :)
GREAT PICTURES! I can’t get over how much Willow looks like the cat that has adopted me! Except in my case the cat is a boy! He lives across the road and visits me a lot for cuddles! I would let him in more but he is not desexed and likes to mark his place! Cheeky sod! He is so good looking though! Sigh! And oober cuddly!
I always think it’s so cool when animals adopt us!
